Getting to Bolivia: This is going to be a unique adventure to the Amazon Basin of Bolivia. Bio-diversity at its maximum. You are going to the town of Rurrenabaque in the Department of Beni, Bolivia. Rurrenabaque is a small town of 15, 500 habitants on the shore of the Beni river and offer all amenities for a safe and comfortable vacation in the Jungle and Savannas.
Getting to the nation of Bolivia is nice and easy.

From North America: Regular flight to La Paz and Santa Cruz from Miami (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) with Aerosur, and from other major hub cities in the USA with American Airlines, Dallas Fort Worth, Atlanta. |

Getting to the Amazon town of Rurrenabaque is nice and easy.

TAM, or Transporte Aero - Militar, a government owned and operated airline company. TAM operates from the military airport in both La Paz and Santa Cruz. From the international airport were you land upon arrival in Bolivia, you need to take a taxi from the international airport to the military airport in either La Paz or Santa Cruz when flying with TAM to Rurrenabaque. From La Paz, TAM has direct flight to Rurrenabaque; however, from Santa Cruz TAM does not offer any direct flight to Rurrenabaque, flights are via La Paz. We only work with TAM in case of emergency, time or due to the demand of your schedule.*(2) Another option Amaszonas |
Please note that sometimes flying to the Amazon can be difficult due to weather. If any delay to your schedule please call our office @ (591)-(3)-711-23-596. Cost of Taxi from one airport to the other in either La Paz or Santa Cruz is 25.00bs. The cost is reimbursed by Madidi Amazon Travel upon arrival in Rurrenabaque. Please ask of a "factura" (receipt). |
