Your 12 days itinerary for reservation coding: "APOLO-12" to Madidi National Park and San Jose de Uchipiamonas
You will experience a beautiful journey from La Paz, department of La Paz to Rurrenabaque, department of Beni via the town of Apolo and the indigenous village of San Jose de Uchipiamonas in Madidi National Park on the shore of the breathtaking Tuichi river. It is a ten day hike through Madidi National Park.

La Paz to the town of Apolo:
Traveling by bus from La Paz, you will go through Lake Titicaca, the town of Copacabana and onto the town of Apolo, your entry point into Madidi National Park. This bus ride is a beautiful eight hours trip. The population of Apolo is approximately 12 thousand.
Apolo to the village of San Jose de Uchipiamonas:
Traveling at a pleasant steady pace, it will be a ten 10 day journey through spectacular sceneries. The food is prepared in advanced and consist mostly of dry food, tuna salad, boiled eggs, sandwiches, trail mix, nuts, pancake toast, marmalade, cheese, pasta, green veggies, café, chocolate, tea and fresh fruit. Warm food is served at breakfast and at night and it is prepared on a camp fire.
San Jose de Uchipiamonas:
Spend one day in San Jose de Uchupiamonas visiting the village relaxing and enjoying the daily life of an Amazon community. A little purchase of coca leaves, chocolate in paste and dry fish for our road trip.
You can also travel from San Jose de Uchipiamonas to Rurrenabaque via the Tuichi River.
San Jose de Uchupiamonas to the village of Tumupasa:
This is an easy one day hike to the village of Tumupasa where we will stay one night and then catch the bus to San Buenaventura and Rurrenabaque.
Rurrenabaque:
Stay one day in Rurrenabaque at the hotel and return flight to La Paz.
