Coming soon, a river trip to the indigenous village of San Luis Grande. The possible completion of the fresh water project. Needs investigation of San Luiz Chico, needs and assistance investigation at CIBA(Centro Intregado Boliviano Aléman), lending hand to Menonites homesteading in the Amazon basin of Bolivia and least but not last a visit to the headquarters of the Biosphere of Pilon Lajas and Madidi National Park.
The water project of San Luis Grande in the heart of the Biosphere of Pilon Lajas was originally started in 2007 by Alan Perry of Idaho, USA.
The water project of San Luis Chico was made possible with a group of students (Where There be Dragons) visiting the area in 2005 sent by Alan. This group was visiting the Mapajo indigenous eco-tourism project. It was tour #38 of fiscal year 2005, CUSO Canada cooperation. A very prosperous year for Mapajo with an increase in net income at fiscal year of more than 1,750% and one more village on the Quiquibey river with access to fresh water(San Luis Chico). Two water taps in the village and more important one of the two taps installed close to the local school by the village leader Mr. Felipe Huallata.
